My Biography

Howe Safety & Defense was founded on the premise of providing individuals with quality firearms and self-defense training solutions. We are dedicated to providing our students with the knowledge and skills needed to defend themselves and their loved ones from violence and threats of harm. Our training is tailored to the individual who understands the importance of being prepared to defend themselves from danger, but who may have little or no previous firearms or self-defensive training.

Howe Safety & Defense is a, “Minnesota Department of Public Safety,” approved firearms training company, and a business authorized to certify Minnesota firearms instructors.

    "Mike is an outstanding instructor! He flavors the classroom instruction with personal experience and makes it more enjoyable and memorable. On the range, Mike establishes very clear expectations and is very well prepared for a multitude of situations. He takes time to observe each student individually to suggest changes that could, or should, be made to stance, grip, technique, etc. to improve outcomes.
