Founder Arms Defensive Pistol Class is a beginner to intermediate 4 hour course designed to give students of any experience level the necessary skills to feel confident carrying a handgun for their defensive, training, or recreational needs.

This class is designed to be accessible to all levels of shooters and incorporates a low round count to maximize on value while instilling the skills necessary to train further on your own or in future classes.

Topics covered in this course include: Basic Pistol Handling & Safety, Holster & Carry Placement Considerations, Holster Draw & Presentation, Thumb-Pectoral Retention, Proper Reload & Malfunction Clearing Techniques & Defensive Mindset.

The course will start in the classroom for introductions on the topics, safety briefing, gear check, and some dry fire warmups before moving onto the range for the remainder of the course.

Required Equipment:

A semi-automatic handgun chambered in 9mm, .45acp, .40 or .380

A Kydex OWB (outside the waistband) or IWB (inside the waistband) holster

Ability to carry 2 spare magazines on your person 3 total magazines required

Weather Appropriate range attire
