My Biography

Silver Fox Training is a family-owned firearms training company serving the Kalamazoo and Southwest Michigan area. Founded by husband-and-wife team Chad and Sunday Speer, we believe earning a Michigan CPL is about more than receiving a certificate—it's about developing the knowledge, skills, and confidence to safely and responsibly own and carry a firearm.

Unlike large classroom environments, we intentionally keep our class sizes small to provide personalized instruction, individual coaching, and plenty of opportunities to ask questions. Whether you're a first-time firearm owner, seeking your Michigan CPL, renewing your CPL, or looking to advance your skills, you'll receive the individual attention needed to learn in a welcoming, supportive environment.

Chad is a USCCA Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals Instructor, Rangemaster Certified Instructor, and NRA Chief Range Safety Officer.

Sunday is a USCCA Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals Instructor, A Girl & A Gun Certified Instructor, and NRA Range Safety Officer.
