Randall Ark

I am a certified USCCA Instructor, licensed Stop the Bleed instructor, and Range Safety Officer at Williams Gunsight in Davison, Michigan. I am passionate about helping individuals and families take ownership of their personal safety through responsible, practical training. I specialize in Michigan CPL certification and firearms fundamentals, with a strong focus on working with new shooters.

Many of my students come to me feeling nervous or uncertain around firearms. My goal is to help them leave confident, competent, and empowered. My teaching style is patient, welcoming, and firmly grounded in safety. I strive to create an environment where every student feels respected, supported, and comfortable learning at their own pace.

My professional background includes service as a Marine Corps combat veteran and ten years as a 911 dispatcher. This experience has given me firsthand insight into crisis response, situational awareness, and the real-world consequences of emergencies. I bring those lessons into every class to reinforce sound judgment, preparedness, and safety.

Whether you are handling a firearm for the first time, refining existing skills, or learning critical life-saving medical response, my objective is to ensure you leave training more capable and assured in your ability to protect yourself and your loved ones.

Outside the range, I am a husband, father, and follower of Christ. These roles shape my belief that protecting our families is both a responsibility and a calling. No matter your experience level, I will meet you where you are and help you take the next step with confidence and clarity.
