What You'll Learn
This course offers training in the safe and skillful carry and use of firearms. Participants will study the tactical, legal, and moral considerations related to firearms, as well as an introduction to general safety concepts, such as situational awareness, conflict avoidance, conflict resolution and de-escalation, and fundamentals of home security. Upon completion of this course, consisting of five classroom hours and three range hours, participants will be issued a Course Certificate, which will satisfy the State of Michigan’s requirement to apply for and obtain a CPL.
Cancellation Policy: In consideration of other class participants, as well as prospective participants, I respectfully request that if a participant needs to cancel enrollment in a class, notice of the cancellation be made well in advance of the scheduled class. Cancellations made within seven days of a scheduled class will result in a refund of half the cost of the class. If a participant gives notice of cancellation less than 48 hours before the date of a class, no refund will be issued.
