My Biography
I have over 30 years of combined experience in the military, law enforcement, security, and emergency preparedness career fields. My ongoing education includes taking courses with the U.S. Department of Homeland Security (DHS) via The Emergency Management Institute of The Federal Emergency Management Agency (FEMA).
I have worked contract security for a wide variety of clients, details, and specialties to include FEMA, under the direct management of The Department of Homeland Security, The Federal Protective Service, The Internal Revenue Service, The U.S. Attorney's Office, both Districts of Delaware and District of Virginia. I have been a certified Personal Protection Specialist, (A.K.A. Body Guard) since 2003 in the Commonwealth of Virginia. I have used these skills for several Fortune 500 companies such as Philip Morris/Altria, Genworth Financial, and Bank of America's Eastern Regional Headquarters.
I received the National Defense Service Metal for supporting the ongoing campaign during the Gulf War while on active duty in The United States Air Force. I have been a sworn law enforcement officer as a Sheriff's Deputy in the County of Henrico in The Commonwealth of Virginia. I have also had several years of experience as a Correctional Officer for the Commonwealth of Virginia. I own a K9 Training Kennel where I specialize in breeding Working Line German Shepherds, Personal Protection K9 and train all breeds in Basic and Advanced Obedience.
I have vast experience gained through varied security assignments. My expertise and versatility in the security industry allows me to deploy as a tactical operator or standing by at the board room serving as executive protection. I am a dedicated, proactive professional with excellent communication and interpersonal skills projecting a positive attitude, commitment, honesty, and integrity.

Individuals will be instructed in the importance and fundamentals of Situational Awareness while in various locations to include high risk areas.
Topics discussed will be how Security K9 can be utilized as a strong deterrence, guard dogs to protect a certain property and location or as fully trained in Personal Protection. Conditioning a dog for Emergency Preparedness to handle movement/logistics and stress in a Bug Out scenario will be covered to include the importance of muzzle training, crate training, e-collars and adapting to new locations. Caring for your K9 aspects of Emergency Preparedness will also be covered. This course will discuss Home Defense, a plan for home security in general as well as the 10 layers of Home Defense.
I will give the essential information, statistics and hard facts of these incidents, professional insight and Security Industry standards to help increase your knowledge, ability and odds of surviving an Active shooter incident.
Home Defense Fundamentals and Situational Awareness will be the focus of this course. Knowing the vulnerabilities of your home and where you can make it strong with lighting, window security film, hardened door locks/jams and many other measures. Being aware of your surroundings when out in public is the key to not being a soft target. making potential attackers know you are aware of them, making eye contact and walking in groups deter criminals. There will be many things covered in this course and individuals will be well equipped to have the confidence to be secure in most situations.
Learn what the constitution says about the 2nd Amendment and how it applies to modern day law and being able to carry without the need for a permit or other certifications. Only limited States in the USA have "Constitutional Carry"
