"Would have preferred more thought provoking scenarios about when to use or not use deadly force. A class I took before had a lot of scenarios like "man comes around corner and sees a man on top of a woman struggling, shoots the man...but he didn't realize it was an undercover cop arresting the woman". Also disagreed with advice about possibility of displaying gun to prevent a bad situation (switch to open carry), I have already learned to only draw my gun when I will shoot. If I draw my gun on an attacker and then try to tell them to back off, I worry that in court they would argue that I escalated before I feared for my life. Also the other class had valuable discussion about how long it takes someone to reach you from different distances with a knife and what exactly to do when someone approaches you and/or family and asks for wallet, etc."
