What You'll Learn

This is an introduction to semi-automatics. This course focuses on safe firearm handling. This course covers universal safety rules, clearance checks, clearing malfunctions, types of ammunition, shooting fundamentals (stance, grip, trigger control, sight alignment, etc.). This is a two-day class—no prerequisites are required.

Classroom portion is at 6915 Laurel-Bowie, Bowie, MD on day 1 starting at 9 am. Shooting portion is at 9801 Fallard Court, Upper Marlboro, MD on day 2 starting at 10:00 am.

$50 range fee due prior to shooting on Sunday. This fee is applied to pistol lane, handgun rental, and ammunition. You will also receive ear protection, eye protection, and paper target to take home.

Cancellation Policy: No refunds. Please contact us if you need to reschedule or if you would like to exchange permits/packages purchased.
