Legally Protected provides quality firearms training from certified and experienced instructors for all levels from beginner to advanced. Whether you’re looking to learn about firearm safety and marksmanship or looking to work on defensive shooting, we have you covered. Legally Protected prioritizes safety at all levels and all times. This is a two-day class. After completing the course, you will be able to apply for MD Wear & Carry Permit. Must be at least 21 years of age. No prerequisites required.
Classroom portion at 6915 Laurel-Bowie Road, Bowie, MD on day 1 starting at 9 am. Shooting portion is at 9801 Fallard Court, Upper Marlboro, MD on day 2 starting at 10 am.
$50 range fee due prior to shooting on Sunday. This fee is applied to pistol lane, handgun rental, and ammunition. You will also receive ear protection, eye protection, and paper target to take home.
This is a two-day class. This class fulfills the training requirement for MD HQL, MD Wear & Carry, DC CCW, VA CCW, Utah CCW, and much more, covering over 40 states! MD HQL is included in all packages at no additional cost.

1-day classes on Fridays are Virtual Instructional portion via Google Meet from 9 am - 1 pm There will be a 1-2 break after the online portion/before the shooting portion. Shooting portion is held at Maryland Small Arms - 9801 Fallar Court, Upper Marlboro, MD.
2-day weekend classes are in person Classroom portion is at 6915 Laurel-Bowie Road, Bowie, MD on day 1 from 9 am - 5 pm. Shooting portion is at 9801 Fallard Court, Upper Marlboro, MD on day 2 starting at 10 am.

This is an introduction to semi-automatics. This course focuses on safe firearm handling. This course covers universal safety rules, clearance checks, clearing malfunctions, types of ammunition, shooting fundamentals (stance, grip, trigger control, sight alignment, etc.). This is a two-day class—no prerequisites are required.
