David Defense offers private lessons tailored to your needs. This training is $75/hr for one student, and $100/hr for 2 students. Whether you are a new shooter, or one that has just not shot in awhile, who wants help with instructor led drills, David Defense can help you.

This course is designed for individuals who have some formal handgun instruction and want to apply for a Maryland Wear and Carry Permit. Upon successful completion of the Concealed Carry course, students are certified to apply for the State of Maryland Wear and Carry Permit. The Concealed Carry course objectives are:

• Introduction to firearm basics • Different types of firearm actions and typical uses for each type • Understanding ammunition • What combination of firearm and ammunition may be best for your situation

What you will learn: All states have different laws governing the legal use of force. This course specifically covers Maryland’s laws relating to gun ownership, where & how you can carry a firearm in Maryland, reasonable force, deadly force, the use-of-force continuum, defense of your home, use of force outside your home, and defense of property. The laws change. It is important to keep up with those changes. This 1 hour course, your instructor will cover the following lessons: • Reasonable Force • Deadly Force • Duty to Retreat • Castle Doctrine and Defense of Home • Defense of Property • The Use-Of-Force Continuum • How a Prosecutor Will Evaluate Your Case • Maryland Jury Instructions for Self-Defense Cases
