Hello, Ron and Dave welcome you to Chesapeake Firearms Training, LLC. We are the Owners and Chief Certified Instructors of Chesapeake Firearms Training, LLC. We have a combined 80+ years of Law Enforcement, NRA, and USCCA training. We are Certified Range Safety Officers, Basic Pistol & rifle Instructors, Personal Protection in the Home, Home Firearm Safety, Countering the Mass Shooter Threat, Personal Protection Outside the Home and Refuse to be a Victim.

What are your needs. Are you a new gun owner looking for pistol or defensive training in Maryland area? Maybe you own a handgun, but haven’t had an opportunity to safely train with it for several years. Maybe you want to get your Maryland HQL (Handgun Qualification License), or your Maryland Handgun Concealed Carry Permit? The Concealed Carry Class includes the HQL Permit Training. Maybe you are an experienced gun owner that wants to brush up your skills, shoot at a pistol range and learn gun safety? With the 2nd Amendment challenges currently happening in our nation, you have found the right place at the right time!

Chesapeake Firearms Training is instructing out of the Southern Maryland and Northern Maryland areas. We offer a variety of firearms training courses by NRA and USCCA. We are Certified & Insured Instructors who stress safe gun handling, and can help anyone learn safe gun handling practices and improved firearm handling skills. We are dedicated to the safety and proficiency of firearm use and the belief that the right to protect one’s self is a fundamental 2nd Amendment right.

First and foremost, firearms ownership comes with the responsibility to society, yourself, and most of all those around you, that you be proficient in their use and knowledgeable in the law that governs their use. We want you to be as proficient with your chosen firearm as possible.

History shows that everything that can go wrong, will go wrong – and probably when you least expect it, and at the worst possible time. Also, remember, no one knows it all, there will always be faster, better techniques to learn. Accepting these basic principles will lead you to the conclusion that it pays to listen, learn and plan ahead. Simply put when seconds count … “Train for the worst, hope for the best”.
