What You'll Learn
This class teaches proper draw from concealment, accurate fire, and controlled handgun manipulation. Dry fire drills drills and laser training are used in this class to prepare the student for live fire on the range. This is a fundamentals course that is appropriate for firearm owners who have completed at least one previous handgun course. Learning and reinforcement of proper habits builds safety, accuracy, and confidence in ones skills. These skills will then be tested on the range.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
Defensive Shooting Fundamentals
This lesson will continue with the basics, including a very visual overview of what we call the “building blocks” or the fundamentals for accurate and safe shooting. Within this lesson, Michael Martin will explain the differences between the skills required for being a good “marksman” at the range, and the skills that might be required to save your life if you are ever the subject of a violent attack.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
If you own a laser training cartridge please bring it with you. This course is for those who have completed at least one handgun class and own their own firearm, holster, magazines (2-3), and magazine pouch.
