My Biography
At Nefesh Defense we provide training and guidance for individuals and groups so they can develop and implement their own unique safety and security plans. The word ‘Nefesh’ in Hebrew means ‘soul’. Our goal is to cultivate the principle of the ‘protective soul’, or in Hebrew, ‘Nefesh Haganah’.
Our training model embraces the techniques of situational awareness, avoidance, and de-escalation. As Steve Tarani, security expert and consultant with USCCA, has said: “If you have to go to your gun, all of your plans have failed”.
In the event that the use of force is necessary and unavoidable, we will also teach you proper firearm handling in a safe manner for students ranging from beginner to advanced.
Emergency medical response knowledge and skills can save loved ones, or your self, in the event of an injury or illness. Our CPR/AED and Control the Bleed classes are taught by a National Registry Emergency Medical Technician so that you have the latest and most effective techniques to keep someone alive until help arrives.
