D'Nasha L. Harrison
• USCCA CERTIFIED CONCEALED CARRY & HOME DEFENSE INSTRUCTOR • RETIRED UNITED STATES MARINE EXPERT RATED MARKSMAN QUALIFICATION (6TH AWARD) • NAAGA MEMBER
Born on the West Side of Chicago, D'Nasha was able to develop a unique experience and curiosity for firearms, although there had been a negative stigma associated with firearm usage within and outside of the Chicagoland area during his youth. After moving to Michigan at an early age and given the opportunity to witness how firearms were incorporated within community activities with most people having shared interest helped propel his curiosity about the law that protects our rights to own and carry firearms. In 1991, D'Nasha served his country by joining the United States Marine Corps and participated in various operations throughout the Middle East, Central West Africa, Central America, and other areas around the globe. D'Nasha believes that throughout his experiences, teaching firearm usage and safety is paramount in order to protect yourself and others from those who attempt to do harm to the innocent.
D'Nasha believes that knowing the laws that help support a citizens second amendment right is a right meant for all law abiding citizens within our country. After serving our country over 20 years as a United States Marine in peacetime and in war, the unique perspective relative to the proper usage of firearms and the obligation to help train others in detail about the capabilities and safe practices of firearms is his focus that will make the differences needed to protect yourself and those that you care about.
D'Nasha is working to achieve other certifications within the USCCA curriculum in order to further his education and instruct others on the many things that firearm awareness, and the principal practices that are connected has to offer. As a father of three and a grand father of five, D'Nasha is continuing to work within and outside of the Chicagoland area and throughout the state to help promote firearms safety and awareness through community outreach and working with skilled community leaders within and outside of the Chicagoland area.
