My Biography
Nick's formal firearm training began in 2008 when he joined the United States Army. Nick Spent a year working in Balad, Iraq in 2008-2009, and a year in East Afghanistan in 2011-2012 with the Army's 25th Infantry Division. Since leaving the military has continued to train, and in 2021 he and Jeromy Whelan opened SimShot in Meridian, Idaho. Nick competes regularly in the USPSA, and became certified as one the USCCA's first few Defensive Pistol Program instructors in 2024.
