Asim Francis is the Owner & Lead Instructor for Black Star Defense Training &Tactics LLC. He draws from over a decade of expertise and training in firearms for use in self-defense. Committed to responsible firearm practices, Asim guides individuals in safe, responsible, and defensively accurate shooting during critical defensive scenarios, emphasizing both hitting targets and quick decision-making.

As a Certified USCCA Training Counselor, Asim holds a distinct qualification to educate, guide, and train others seeking to be Certified Firearms Instructors, reflecting his leadership in molding responsible firearm users into Community Educators. His comprehensive approach extends beyond shooting, encompassing personal growth and informed choices. Asim's classes fuse safety, intelligence, and readiness, making him an exceptional instructor for those aspiring to master responsible firearm application and self-defense preparedness. Asim is also a martial artist and holds the rank of Nidan (2nd Degree Black Belt) in Bujinkan Budo Taijutsu (Classical Japanese Budo Art). He brings his years of training with master teachers from around the world with him both in the classroom and on the range.
