USCCA Certified Instructor in Concealed Carry and Home Defense USCCA Certified Range Safety Officer

Specializing in empowering women through basic fundamentals of firearms training with the knowledge and skills they need to protect themselves and their families.

My husband and I work together as a team training on all levels of firearms and safety. We work with individuals and groups through mini classes and weekend long classes to help you grow in your knowledge and skills to protect yourself, your family and your community.

In addition to Firearms training, we also offer Preparedness programs that assist in disaster prep, basic first aid, emergency survival techniques, what to pack for an emergency and how to ensure you are ready to face any unexpected situation with confidence and readiness before it occurs.

"The class was okay. The female teacher talked too much about her Jeep. The USCCA representative did a great job at keeping his engaging Questions & Answers focused on legality & actual court cases. I’m surprised no one talked about The 3 Cardinal Rules of handling a gun: All guns are always loaded, never let the muzzle of the weapon cover anything you’re not willing to destroy, and, beware of your target and beyond. What about the determining factors of when to shoot? Is your life in danger. Can you retreat to safety without pulling your gun. Call 911. Shoot to end the threat. I was surprised at the number of attendees that feel like it’s acceptable to kill someone to protect their Harley from theft. Either they weren’t taking the topic seriously, or they don’t consider legal ramifications. The class seemed like a sales pitch to join the USCCA. Maybe include some videos from USCCA members that highlight the benefits of their membership. Including some videos of available hands/on training. As a former military instructor, I don’t want to hear about the 300 hours of online video training & lectures. If anyone is motivated enough, they can get online training from other sources for free. Overall, it was a good class. Maybe add some scenarios on the PowerPoint presentation to educate on Shoot/Don’t shoot. "
