What You'll Learn
This class will allow you to apply for your Florida Concealed Carry License. This is a basic pistol class focusing on fundamentals and safety.
***Additional training is recommended. If you are considering additional training this class is offered in a private lesson package that includes four, one-hour sessions: Florida CCW, Intermediate, Defensive, and the Violent Encounters and the Aftermath
Cancellation Policy: Non-Refundable - You may reschedule the class one time if needed with at least a 48- Hour Notice. No exceptions. Range fees, ammo, targets, eye and ear protection are not included in the price. Please be aware of these additional fees before registration as we do not offer a refund.
What We'll Teach
Basic
In this introduction module, Beth Alcazar introduces students to the basics of handgun safety, including how to safely clear (unload) a semi-automatic pistol. Alcazar goes on to explain and demonstrate the seven basic fundamentals for safe and accurate shooting. The lesson is rounded out by taking those basics, and putting them into practice both in the classroom and on the shooting range. This lesson will act as a building block as the student progresses to Women’s Intermediate Pistol.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
Non-Refundable. The class can be rescheduled once with a 48-hour notice. Please Note: Rage Fees ($40 I believe), ammo, targets, eye and ear protection are NOT included. If the class is small I have two pair of ear protection for my students to use at NO cost. Ammo can be purchased at the range so you do not have to bring your own. I will help you pick the correct ammunition for the live fire portion. I do provide two firearms during training. Please Do NOT bring a firearm to the class.
