My Biography
Meet Your Instructor
Learning to shoot shouldn't feel intimidating. If you've ever thought, "I'd like to learn... but I'm nervous," or "I had a bad experience at the range and never went back," you're not alone. I hear that story from women all the time.
Many women want to learn how to safely protect themselves and their families, but their first experience with firearms left them feeling rushed, embarrassed, overwhelmed, or afraid to ask questions. That's exactly why I created my training.
As a USCCA Certified Firearms Instructor, NRA Certified Range Safety Officer, and founder of I Got Her Six, my passion is helping women who are brand new to firearms—or those who haven't handled one in years—build confidence in a supportive, judgment-free environment.
This isn't about proving anything to anyone. It's about giving you the knowledge, skills, and confidence to make informed decisions about your own personal safety.
My classes move at your pace. No question is a silly question. We'll cover firearm safety, proper handling, marksmanship fundamentals, and real-world defensive concepts in a way that's easy to understand and designed for beginners.
While many outstanding male instructors exist, some women simply learn better in an environment where they feel understood, comfortable, and free from pressure.
Sometimes, a woman's perspective makes all the difference. My goal isn't just to teach you how to shoot. My goal is for you to leave feeling empowered, confident, and capable—knowing you can safely handle a firearm and continue building the skills that could one day protect yourself or someone you love.
You don't have to become an expert overnight. You just have to take the first step. I'd be honored to help you take it.
