My Biography

My name is Melanie Davis.

I am the owner/founder of Fight Until the Finish Personal Safety & Firearms Training. I am also a former law enforcement officer with the Polk County Sheriff's Office. I hold multiple instructor and range safety officer certifications.

As Facilitator for the Lakeland Chapter of A Girl & A Gun, I have the opportunity to train women who are afraid of firearms, to help them become comfortable & confident with a firearm while learning how to safely handle and operate them.

My goal as a firearms instructor is to take that intimidation factor out of firearms training for the beginner student and to help the more experienced shooter continue on to next level training through scenario/reality-based training using Simunition and simulator training aids.
