My Biography

I am a USCCA certified instructor in Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals, Women’s Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals, and as a Range Safety Officer. I am focused on safely helping women and first-time shooters build real confidence and practical skills. With more than 40 years of experience around firearms, I strive to provide clear, step-by-step training in a safe, supportive, and judgment-free environment. My focus is to help students leave informed, capable, empowered, and wanting to return for more.

In addition to my work on the range, I have spent 30 years in the IT industry as a corporate strategic financial planner, where I have developed a reputation for clear communication, thoughtful preparation, and helping people make informed decisions under pressure. I strive to bring that same structured, supportive approach to training at the range as well.

Thanks to her consistent, easy-to-understand guidance, my progress far exceeded my expectations. I learned a lot about shooting, self-defense, and gun laws. Her husband, Mike, was also a huge help. He taught me shooting techniques and even showed me how to clean my gun. It was truly impressive. When they corrected my mistakes, they were not condescending in any way.
