What You'll Learn

Reactive Handgun Fundamentals is a comprehensive 9 hour course designed to expose the student to the fundamentals of fighting with a handgun. It is a beginning level course but the student will be expected to be proficient in the basic operation of their weapon and be able to demonstrate an understanding of basic firearms safety. This course meets and exceeds the requirements to obtain a Florida Concealed Weapons Permit. This course will cover the following Proper grip and stance Trigger control and sight management Standard and non-standard response Multiple targets and tactical order of engagement The five step presentation Tactical and speed reloads Level 1 and 2 malfunction clearance Pivots and turns Lateral movement Forward and rearward movement Situational awareness and conflict avoidance
