Berton Gartrell

Bert is a United States Marine Corps Veteran who received an Honorable Discharge with the rank of Corporal in 2020 after serving 4 years as an Infantryman. Bert is extremely dedicated in his work and at what he does. As they say in the Marine Corps, "Semper Fidelis", (Always Faithful in Latin) Bert remains in his Semper Fidelis ways and will make sure each student is confident before handling any firearms and will make sure each student is safe and prepared to fire a weapon before letting them handle a loaded firearm. Bert also teaches 1 on 1 instruction for those who are interested in sharpening up their skills or to learn more about their firearm or rental that they are interested in shooting. Email / Message for details on 1 on 1 shooting classes! Bert is also an In-Home Private Instructor and can be contacted by request to do class at your personal home. He lets you know that you can ask questions from the comfort of your couch while eating breakfast and drinking your morning drinks to kickstart your day into excitement! Bert is very keen on time and making sure he arrives ON TIME with all of his students and answers any questions before, during and after the classes. The biggest benefit to having a Private In-Home (PIH) class is that you aren't in a large group setting with other students and that having a PIH class gives you a more personal experience with the instructor rather than only talking to them maybe once or twice like a common larger group. With that being said, Bert will even take extra time to make sure you understand everything before moving on. Bert takes extreme pride in his work being a Firearms Instructor and with his teaching, you will realize that he really means everything he does with his work. Safety on and off the range is his #1 priority above all.
