My Biography
LifeSafe Training, LLC offers family safety training and personal safety training centered around the proper use of firearms. There is a tremendous gap in available firearms and personal safety courses and LifeSafe Training was created to fill that space. The training available, much of it Military or Law Enforcement based using methods and tactics are sound, but sorting out what is useful and practical for us from what is useful for a soldier or law enforcement officer can be daunting, confusing, and time consuming. We offer a new way to learn proven methods for personal safety by offering courses that are smaller and more tailored to our clients personal needs. Much of our training is done in our client’ home and then the practical application is relevant to their individual situation. It’s important to us that our clients are always comfortable with the curriculum, whether it’s teaching their little ones to “Don’t touch it, leave the area, find an adult,” or it’s a live fire session on the range, when a student is comfortable, they will get the most out of their lessons.

Our very popular Concealed Carry course has been combined with our Home Defense course to give you the best of both all in one day. This 6-hour course is a combination of classroom education along with live-fire drills and exercises that will help you become a more competent shooter. We will cover mindset, competency, equipment and shooting in this class.

This course is $150 plus the non-refundable registration fee of $10 and the Range fee of $20. Please READ everything here before you enroll. This is a Pistol Permit Course that upon completion will award a certificate that is a pre-requisite to apply for a Permit to Carry Pistols & Revolvers in CT and the 32 States where the CT Permit is accepted.
The total cost of this course is $180 and any balance not paid with registration is due and payable at class in CASH only. $10 administrative fee due on registration, balance due at class beginning. The administration fee is non-refundable.
This is a Basic Pistol Course that is acceptable in CT to apply for a pistol permit. The price is $150. The price is a CASH price. Any other payment method the price is $220.
If you don’t show up for a class without a cancellation notice at lest 48 hours in advance., 50% of the fee is due.
This course will certify instructors to teach the USCCA Concealed Carry, Home Defense courses. This includes CT Pistol Permit certification.
This is a FREE course on Home Defense and Personal Protection from LifeSafe Training and the USCCA.
This class is based around the treatment of bleeding and trauma care. It has a focus for Teachers and other professionals that seek to be prepared in the event of an active shooter or other trauma. We will go "hands-on" for the medical portion and students will leave with a working knowledge of tourniquets, pressure bandages, bleeding control and important immediate basic level medical care. We will also discuss how to become a "harder target" and protecting classrooms, office spaces and homes.
We will have examples of available trauma kits and how to use them.

How do we choose what gear and select specific brands for our daily carry can become an expensive effort of trail and error. What you wear and how you dress and move are all important considerations. Try different holsters and lights in this class. Start to learn what works for you and see what others are use.
