My Biography

I have a passion for teaching and believe that growth happens just outside our comfort zone. I foster a supportive and safe learning environment for everyone who enters my classroom/range.

Although I am a female instructor, my classes are open to everyone. It is very important to me to create an environment where men & women can learn together and support one another.

I have been a nurse for 20 years & enjoy recreational shooting with my family. I invest in frequent training myself, to improve upon my own skills and pass relevant knowledge onto my students.

I am a lifelong learner and believe that we are never too old to learn a new skill. Knowledge is the antidote for ignorance.

I am certified by both the NRA / USCCA.

I am also certified to administer the Utah Non-Resident course.

    "This class was amazing and Amanda was very kind and personal. She tailored how she taught us to make sure we all got as much as possible out of the class. She prepared all of us very well will all the tools necessary for basic safety and handling of firearms and gave us so much range practice.
