What You'll Learn

This course meets the new state requirements under the law C.R.S. 18-12-202.5 and qualifies you to renew your Colorado Concealed Handgun Permit in your county of residence. It includes a certificate of completion for inclusion in your application packet.

Live range shooting is included and required to complete this course. Please note that students will be drawing from the holster. The course of fire is designed for those students that are comfortable with safe gun handling and shooting fundamentals. If you are not confident with your fundamentals we recommend scheduling an private lesson prior to the class or taking the USCCA CCW 2-Hour Refresher Course.

The class includes a review of safe handling of firearms and ammunition, safe storage of firearms and child safety, and shooting fundamentals. It includes instruction on federal and state laws pertaining to the lawful purchase, ownership, transportation, use, and possession of firearms, including instruction on extreme risk protection orders. It will also educate you on state law pertaining to the use of deadly force for self-defense.

Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
