What You'll Learn
Need to learn the basics? Want to get better with your own handgun? Our USCCA certified instructors will instruct you through the terminology, safety practices, and use of handguns including semi-automatics and revolvers. Then, on Sunday, you'll spend three hours out on a private range with a pair of shooters and one instructor.
Students will be offered a discount on ammo purchased for the class. Rental firearms are available for an additional fee.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
You will be scheduled for a 2-hour session on the second day. Two time slots are available - your session will be determined ahead of time. For Day 2, meet at Ramona Shootists' Emporium, where we will then rendezvous to our private local range. Carpooling is encouraged!
