This class covers long gun basics, operating principals, selection, use, and basic maintenance of long guns including rifles and shotguns. We will also cover legal considerations of firearm configuration.

An overview of developing a personal self defense and a home self defense plan. Having a plan can assist when moments count - don't miss this workshop to help you develop your own.

In this class, we'll provide a full overview and demonstration of brass case reloading from start to finish! We will go over the equipment, techniques, considerations, and execution of the process of reloading at home.

Basic Introduction to Firearms and range training

Need to learn the basics? Want to get better with your own handgun? Our USCCA certified instructors will instruct you through the terminology, safety practices, and use of handguns including semi-automatics and revolvers. Then, on Sunday, you'll spend three hours out on a private range with a pair of shooters and one instructor.

Students will be offered a discount on ammo purchased for the class. Rental firearms are available for an additional fee.

Looking to get a handgun? Need to learn the basics? Want to get better with your own handgun? We will instruct you through the terminology, safety practices, and use of handguns including semi-automatics and revolvers. Class covers 2 hours of classroom instruction and 2 hours of range time with an assortment of firearms. Firearms, ammo, and PPE will be provided. $250.00 per person.

Get ready for your CCW practical exam by practicing on our private range with USCCA certified instructors! We'll walk you through the drills so you'll know what to expect in order to be able to quality. Students should bring PPE, the firearm (as well as ammo) intended for their CCW certification, and water/snacks.

In this class, our USCCA certified instructors will take you through a series of drills to build and hone your skills. Admission includes a copy of USCCA's 'Marksmanship Simplified: An Objective-Based Approach to Superior Shooting' ($35 value). This class will take place on our private local range - meet at Ramona Shootists' Emporium at 8 a.m. and we'll rendezvous from there. Students should bring their own ammo and firearm - we'll provide the targets.

Interested in purchasing a firearm, but don't know where to start? Stop by our shop afterhours to learn about background checks, required documents, and the basics of firearms. We'll have our inventory on display, so you can see an array of handguns, long-guns, accessories, and more! Whether you're looking to get back into firearms or have no knowledge on the subject, we're happy to provide an introduction to this fun sport!

This two-day class includes classroom and range time covering handgun basics and shooting fundamentals. This class is geared towards new shooters.

You'll learn:

• How to avoid conflict and gain awareness of your surroundings
• The psychology of violent encounters
• The legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath)
• Home security and home defense

Students will also receive an official USCCA guidebook!

Have you ever wanted to try a sampling of handguns? Thinking of purchasing a handgun, but not sure what fits your hands, or what certain models feel like while shooting? Join us for an hour of instruction of handling and manipulation, basics of handgun use followed by a "buffet" of different types of firearms and calibers to shoot to satisfy any curiosity! Ammo and firearms provided, just bring your PPE!

In this lesson, we will cover important legal topics, including the laws governing the legal use of force inside and outside the home. Within this lesson, you’ll get a chance to test what you’ve learned, using several real world scenarios with you as the actor. This class is offered as a free introduction to the USCCA curriculum.
