My Biography
I am a U.S. Army veteran, former police officer, and retired U.S. Marshal. I am also a certified firearms instructor with over two decades of experience with firearms, tactical training and safety education.
I am known for my disciplined, yet approachable, teaching style, and have helped countless individuals sharpen their skills and mindset necessary for responsible gun ownership.
My passion lies in transforming everyday people into confident protectors through training and education rooted in real-world experience, expertise, and accountability.

This course is specifically for the shooter who has a good understanding of handgun safety and skillset. It is designed to build on cognizance, confidence and competence related to firearm safety ,fundamental mechanics, and responsible gun carry and ownership. Completion of a Basic Firearms class is suggested.
USCCA Protector Academy Level 1 2 3 Qualifications
- To legally purchase a handgun in California, you must first obtain a Firearm Safety Certificate (FSC). This involves passing a 30 question multiple-answer test on firearm safety.
- Test and operate different handguns to assess each person’s unique preferences and requirements. Receive expert advice and recommendations based on individual needs.
- Once the individual has selected the handgun that best fits their needs, it can be ordered through our onsite firearms dealer (4K Armory).

This class is designed for person who wishes to pursue a CCW permit, or who is a CCW permit holder and wishes to increase their present skill level. All handgun presentation will be from a Concealed position. A significant focus on recognition, efficiency, accuracy, post engagement, and ramifications.
CCW Qualifications (Education/Live Fire) for San Diego, Riverside, and Los Angeles Counties. This is a two (2) day course; each day is eight (8) hours. This course meets/exceeds the California requirements for CCW permits, PC26150 and PC26155.
For San Diego, Riverside and Los Angeles Counties. CCW Permit holders only (Renewal). This class satisfies the California State requirement of 8 hours of training for CA residents, PC26150 and PC26155
Law Enforcement Officer Safety Act (LEOSA) and HR218 allows qualified active and retired law enforcement officers to carry a concealed firearm in any U.S. Jurisdiction or Territory.
