What You'll Learn
Situational Awareness is your first line of defense. It’s the ability to observe your surroundings, recognize potential risks early, and make informed decisions to keep yourself safe.
This course teaches women & young ladies how not to be victims by learning to observe their environment, identify soft-target indicators, and recognize potential threats early. As a student, you'll receive practical instruction on staying aware without fear, distraction, or unnecessary stress, helping you move through the world with confidence and control.
In this course, you will learn to identify behavioral and environmental cues, avoid common distractions, and develop proactive habits that reduce vulnerability long before a situation becomes dangerous. You’ll also be introduced to the Cooper Color Code of Situational Awareness and learn how to apply it in daily life to maintain an appropriate level of alertness.
The course emphasizes prevention, personal boundaries, and recognizing when something feels “off,” so you can respond sooner and more effectively. Skills are taught in a clear, easy-to-understand format with real-world examples, making them practical and immediately applicable—whether you’re at home, running errands, traveling, or spending time in public spaces.
Perfect for women and young ladies of all ages, this training is designed to build awareness, confidence, and empowerment, giving you the tools to stay safe and proactive in everyday life.

What We'll Teach
Developing a Personal Plan & Home Protection Plan
Developing a personal & home protection plan is a key component of not only preparing for how we should (or might) react if confronted by a violent crime, but also how we might avoid violent crime in the first place. Within this lesson, Michael Martin explains that developing a protection plan is about much more than becoming proficient with a firearm or writing up a home invasion plan. It’s a plan that must encompass awareness, avoidance, and preparation, so that we’re less likely to find ourselves in a situation where we have no other option than to use our firearm, rather than more likely.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
