Hello, my name is Kathy Granite, and I am the founder of Granite Personal Protection Training, LLC.

I developed Granite Personal Protection Training to help individuals develop the knowledge, skills, and confidence needed to become safe and responsible firearm owners. Whether you are new to firearms, returning to training, or looking to strengthen your existing skills, quality instruction and a strong foundation are essential.

Over the years, I have met many people who want to learn how to properly handle a handgun, improve their shooting skills, and become better prepared for personal protection. Many are unsure where to begin or want to ensure they are learning the right way—with safety, confidence, and responsibility as the foundation.

My mission is to provide professional, patient, and practical instruction for new and intermediate students. Before ever firing a shot, students learn the fundamentals of firearm safety, proper handling, and the mindset required for responsible firearm ownership.

Shooting is a rewarding skill that requires practice, discipline, and continued learning. Whether your goal is personal protection, skill development, or simply becoming more comfortable with your firearm, my goal is to help you train safely, build confidence, and become a more capable firearm owner.
