What You'll Learn
Whether you're new to firearms, looking for a refresher, or ready to build on your existing skills, this course provides a safe, supportive environment to develop confidence and competence with a handgun.
No prior firearms experience is necessary. This is a thorough handgun safety and fundamentals course. By the end of the session, you’ll gain the knowledge and skills needed to handle a firearm responsibly — all while building confidence and comfort shooting at the range.
This course is a combination of classroom instruction and hands-on practice. The course begins in a comfortable private classroom setting, followed by live-fire training at the range.
My goal is to help you build a strong foundation in firearm safety, proper technique, and responsible firearm ownership—both on and off the range.
Cancellation Policy: Please read my policy thoroughly. All payments are non-refundable. I do not give refunds for missed or canceled classes. I will be happy to give you full credit for a future class if you notify me 48 hours before the start of class. The credit is non-transferable and must be used within 60 days. Canceling less than 48 hours in advance of a class will forfeit all credit or reimbursement. By registering for this class, you agree to our cancellation policy.

Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals is a comprehensive classroom course for anyone considering owning or carrying a firearm for self-defense. If you are new to handguns, this is a great introduction to everything you need to know to start your self-protection journey.
This course is a complete guide to understanding the basics of firearms ownership, safety, and nomenclature, and how it applies to home- or self-defense. After this class, students will feel confident to act as their family’s first line of defense in the event of a home invasion or other critical incident.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
RANGE DETAILS: Students will meet at Iron Sights Indoor Shooting Range in Oceanside, CA. If you are new to Iron Sights, you will be expected to complete an online waiver before you begin. Bring $15 cash for range fees and a minimum of 50 rounds of ammunition. More details will be given in your registration confirmation.
