What You'll Learn
This course is the range portion of the California DOJ-approved 16-hour CCW course and is designed to provide students with the hands-on firearms training and live-fire qualification required for their CCW.
Please note: This listing is for the range portion only. The remaining classroom instruction will be completed separately and scheduled for another date at a time that works for both the student and instructor. All 16-hours of required training is included in this course registration.
Students should arrive prepared for live-fire training and bring all required firearms, ammunition, and safety equipment as instructed prior to the course.
AMMO round count: 100 rounds for your primary carry firearm plus 50 additional rounds for any firearms beyond the primary.
This course is intended for students completing the classroom portion of their CCW training separately or as part of a customized training schedule.
Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 48 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 48 hours before the class will not be refunded.
What We'll Teach
Defensive Shooting Fundamentals
This lesson will continue with the basics, including a very visual overview of what we call the “building blocks” or the fundamentals for accurate and safe shooting. Within this lesson, Michael Martin will explain the differences between the skills required for being a good “marksman” at the range, and the skills that might be required to save your life if you are ever the subject of a violent attack.
