Oz Johnson

Oz's background comes from 10 years in the Military and 20 years Law Enforcement with Maricopa County Sheriff's Office. Oz served on SWAT for 7 years, former P.O.S.T. Certified Firearms, Rifle and Building Clearing Instructor. In 2014 he served as the Lead Instructor at the Maricopa Regional SWAT School.

Our mission at Johnson Group Tactical is Preparing all Gun Owners to confidently handle their firearms safely and effectively to protect themselves and their family, gaining real life training in a friendly, stress free learning environment.

We offer handgun and rifle training from Beginner/Novice to Advance/Tactical. We have special focus for women in our Well-Armed Women group. We offer private consultation in your home for Home Security/Home Defense, to include structure clearing. We believe in Preparation and Situational Awareness and teach Tactical Mindset, "the ability to have the thought process that comes with training and experience by using your cognitive thinking to quickly determine your next course of action."

We are a Christian business. Husband & Wife team. Both Veterans. Our Pricing and Referral Program encourage students to come back. We offer 15% discount to all military. We donate 10% of proceeds to local animal rescues.
