This is the site for Vigilant Firearms Training LLC. We provide firearms training services to include NM Concealed Carry, Basic Handgun Shooting, Home Defense, and other classes. We have multiple instructors teaching so please check out our individual instructor reviews along with our Google Reviews.

This is the 2 Day NM Conceal Carry Course with Vigilant Firearms Training in Albuquerque and Rio Rancho. Day 1 is at our classroom at 2309 Renard in Albuquerque, and Day 2 will be at Del Norte Gun Club in Rio Rancho. Call 505-312-0065 if you have questions.
This is the 4 hour long NM Conceal Carry 4 year Renewal course.
This is all done out on the range, with 1 hour of lecture / discussion before we finish the class. We go over the 8 mandatory subject areas and concentrate on NM Laws concerning conceal carry.
Holsters are required, but only for walking around the range. We have limited holsters free to use, just contact us prior to the class. We will not be drawing from the holster to shoot, that is covered in Defensive Shooting Fundamentals Level 1.
Additional fees of $75 are paid to the state to apply for renewal.
This is a 3 hour long NM Concealed Carry 2 Year Refresher course. This involves range safety, shooting safety, and qualification to meet NM 2 Year Refresher requirements.

This course will be taught by USCCA Training Counselor Steve Armijo
This is a mini-course to cover the Fundamentals of Handgun shooting to include Stance, Grip, Aiming, Trigger Control, Breathe Control, and Follow through. Participants will use Laser Pistols in the classroom. There is no range or live fire shooting during this class.
This class is to help people understand how to create a Home Defense Plan to keep their home and family safe. There is no live fire nor range shooting required.
This is an 7 hour classroom and range course using USCCA courseware materials. Students will learn how to develop a personal and home protection plan, the legal use of force, defensive shooting fundamentals, self-defense firearms basics, and some advanced shooting skills. The purpose of this course is for the student to understand how to integrate firearms into their home defense in a safe and effective manner.
This course does NOT meet NM state standards for the Conceal Carry license.
This is a FREE USCCA Basic Handgun Course to support National Train a Teacher day! Limited to teachers, administrators, and school staff. You will be asked to provide supporting documents to prove you are a teacher or school staff.
