What You'll Learn
START WITH THE FUNDAMENTALS IN A WOMEN'S ONLY ENVIRONMENT
This class is an 8 hour class with lunch included and it’s designed for students brand new to firearms or a refresher to those who already shoot. This is an introductory course for students to receive formal training for handguns. This course will consist of classroom, simulation training and live fire shooting on an outdoor range. The curriculum is identical to that taught in our Co-ed Introduction To Handguns Course. The only difference is it’s provided in a women’s only setting. You will be taught by our Head female instructors in a fun and safe environment.
Class will start promptly at 9:00am.
Items to bring to class:
· Open mind
· Pistol (If you have one, if not we will have pistols here at the shop to use)
· Pistol ammunition 100-200rds. Ammunition can be purchased here at the shop as well.
· Notebook if you want to take notes.
· Ear protection.
· Eye protection.
· Sunscreen.
· Rain gear as we shoot rain or shine.
· 1-2 extra magazines for your pistol.
· Closed toed shoes or boots (No open toe or sandals)
Cancellation Policy: Things come up, we get it! There is no fee to reschedule your course to a future date, you will get one (1) free reschedule for a paid in full course. Cancelations 72 hours prior to the course will be refunded less a $50 student processing fee. No call, no shows will not get a refund. If something comes up call us! We are happy to work with you!

Basic and Advanced Skills
A number of basic and advanced skills designed to take your skill level beyond the building blocks introduced in Lesson Three, and dramatically elevate your speed, accuracy, and enjoyment at the range.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
Class layout: · Understand manipulation and mechanics of a semi-automatic pistol · Understand basic pistol terminology · Identify various calibers · Common misunderstandings about safety and the handling of firearms · Learn proper range etiquette, do’s and don’ts · Learn professional fundamentals of marksmanship · Shoot a practical exercise on our virtual range using a green gas powered (Real) Glock 19 · Lunch at the shop provided by The Fire Pitt · Outdoor range time · Back to the classroom to give feedback from the day, answer any questions, then hand out certificates.
