My Biography

While I’ve been handling firearms since I was 5 years old, my proficiencies with both the pistol and automatic rifle deepened while serving in the Marine Corps. And as a Marine Corps black belt martial arts instructor, I also found I have a passion for training! My enthusiasm for pistols really grew after attending several Gunsite Academy tactical pistol courses. I love pistol, trap, and long-range rifle shooting. As a 5’1” female, I believe firearms are a great equalizer in a defensive situation, and education and practice are the keys to being a responsible and safe firearm owner. Armed, confident, and proficient - that’s the advantage I’d like to provide my students with my training.

    "Jade was absolutely phenomenal, she simply blew me out of the water. I'm not hard to please necessarily, but I've grown up with many military men in my family who have influenced me to take charge of my independence and being prepared to protect myself if needed. I have also taken a concealed carry course through a police department years ago, so I was expecting the same monotone and bland environment here. Not at all. She was engaging, interactive, and informative 100% of the time. From the informational education she provided to the hands-on portions, she maintained top level safety while engraining correct form/ handling as well. 100% recommend- I woke up this morning expecting a long grueling day and was pleasantly surprised by such a wonderful learning experience. I will take countless lessons and points from today's experience and use them to reinforce my knowledge and continued education. "
