My Biography
Michael Ellefson:
As a career martial artist and instructor (6th degree black belt in Aikido and 3rd degree black belt in Brazilian Jiu-jitsu), Mike has dedicated his life to teaching and sharing his knowledge.
In addition to civilian training, he also works in the government arena providing Defensive Tactics and Officer Survival training to local and Federal Law Enforcement through his program P.A.C.T. (Police Applied Control Tactics).
Mike is a SME (subject matter expert) in Self-Defense/Self-Protection, Asset Retention, Weapon Retention and Applied Environmental Weaponry as well as a certified firearms and home defense instructor. In 2022, Mike successfully completed the USCCA Training Counselor Certification which gives him the ability to certify nationally recognized Conceal Carry & Home Defense Instructors.
As an instructor, Mike goes by the premise that your mind is the best weapon you can have. Training it properly will enable you to develop and retain skills that will help you keep you, your family, and your community safe.
