This is NOT a CCW certification class but we will use some of the same information. We will go over our context for use of our handgun, safety and operation, shooting fundamentals, and gear and gadgets. Lastly we will get you on the range to get comfortable shooting a pistol or revolver. This is a great class for the person that wants a review on handgun use or has never used a handgun at all. We are going to try to keep it quick and simple to get you safe and comfortable on and off the range without overloading you with information.

This is a mini version of our basic pistol class will focus on getting you used to handling a pistol, getting your stance, grip, sight alignment, and sight picture squared away and giving you some simple practice you can do safely in your own home to increase your confidence and safety with your pistol all while not firing a single shot. All trigger pulls will be done dryfire. No ammo should be brought into the classroom by any student.

We teach any of our curriculum based on your request.

We will teach you how to use your pistol in a defensive manner from those distances and in those scenarios that are most common as a civilian.

We will teach you the background and operation of AR style rifles and how to use them in a defensive manner at those distances and in those scenarios that are most common to a civilian.

The goal of this class is to teach you the basics of firearms and how they work so we can be safe in how we handle them especially for maintaince and cleaning.

A gun cleaning kit will be included in the price of this class.

We will talk about Home/Personal Defense Plans, how to make one, and in what ways we can implement a shotgun in that plan, to it's highest potential. There will also be live demonstrations on safe operation and use of a shotgun.

If you have a shotgun you want to use for home defense please bring it with whatever ammo you would like to shoot. We will only be going over the basics of loading, unloading, firing, etc.
