What You'll Learn
This mini-class is designed for clergy, ministry leaders, safety teams, volunteers, and congregants. This program focuses on developing safer places of worship through situational awareness, threat recognition, emergency planning, communication, and coordinated response strategies.
The lesson covers specific considerations related to evaluating the current level of security and offers practical exercises which can be done to practice the lessons being taught.
Topics Covered:
-Learn how to identify a person who may be planning a mass shooting -Determine the steps to create an emergency operations plan -Special safety and knowledge considerations for Houses of Worship -Better evaluate the current House of Worship security, determine safe rooms and improvised weapons, and how to treat the wounded after the attack

Cancellation Policy: Students should bring their own weapons if they have one. NO LIVE FIRE IN THE COURSE OF INSTRUCTION. Cancelation, Rescheduling and Attendance Policy At R U Training LLC, we are committed to providing every student with a professional, well prepared training experience. Classroom preparation, instructor scheduling, range reservations, and course materials are coordinated in advance. Cancellations and last minute schedule changes directly impact the abilityt to serve the other student. By registering for a course, students acknowledge and agree to the following policies: - Adminstrative Fee: All cancellations and approved reschedules are subject to a $25 administrative fee. - 48-Hour Cancellation Policy: Cancellations made within 48 hours of the scheduled course start time are not eligible for a refund. - Rescheduling: One re-schedule may be requested, subject to the $25 administration fee. Requests received within 48 hours of the scheduled class will be treated as cancellations. - Student Preparedness: Students who fail to complete required pre-class instructions, fail to bring required equipment or documentation, or otherwise arrive unprepared to participate may be considered a cancellation or no-show at the instructor's descretion. - Third party costs: Range fee, ammunition, targets, facility fees and other third-part expenses are non-refundable once incurred. R U Training LLC understands that genuine emergencies can occur. Requests involving documented emergencies or military orders may be reviewed on a case by case bases at the sole descretion of the instructor. Any exceptions granted for one student does not establish a precedent for future requests. By completing registration and payment students acknowledge that they have read, understood, and agree to this Cancellation, Re-scheduling, and Attendance Policy.

The lesson covers specific considerations related to Houses of Worship, teaches you how to evaluate your current level of security at your House of Worship, and offers practical exercises which can be done with students to practice the lessons being taught.
