My Biography

Kathryn Riley served 7 years as police officer working on patrol, as a Detective in both the Gang Unit and the Special Victims Unit, and as a Police Training Academy Coordinator. During this time she was also a lead Defensive Tactics instructor on the department. She now works full time out of Five Crow Martial Arts/Fitness & Firearms teaching firearms, self-defense and fitness to her clients.

Coach Kat has over 15 years experience training in the Martial Arts (to include obtaining a Black belt in Jiu Jitsu, Judo, and Tae Kwon Do: Muay Thai Kru; Pekiti Tirsia Instructor: Krav Maga Instructor: and Combat Submission Wrestling Instructor). She also has over 10 years experience as a Nationally Certified Fitness Coach for general population and tactical athletes.
