What You'll Learn

This Class is considered a follow-up class the VA CCW and the first course of the (DPP).

The Defensive Pistol Program (DPP) is a comprehensive, multi-level training curriculum designed to equip students with the necessary skills to effectively and responsibly defend themselves. With its unique focus on skill development, objective- and performance-based training and adaptability to individual skill levels, DPP differentiates itself amidst a competitive landscape of individual trainers, local shooting ranges and national organizations’ current training offerings.

■ Course Break-Down» ◻ Classroom: Understanding Defensive Context, Probability & Self-Defense Data, Home-Defense Considerations, Ammunition & Ballistics, Concealed Carry Considerations ◻ Range: Fundamentals of Defensive Marksmanship

Cancellation Policy: Students are required to cancel at least 24 hours in advance of a class date in order to receive a full refund. Classes cancelled less than 24 hours before the class will not be refunded.

What We'll Teach

Defensive Shooting Fundamentals

This lesson will continue with the basics, including a very visual overview of what we call the “building blocks” or the fundamentals for accurate and safe shooting. Within this lesson, Michael Martin will explain the differences between the skills required for being a good “marksman” at the range, and the skills that might be required to save your life if you are ever the subject of a violent attack.
