What You'll Learn
In this 2-day course we are going to cover a LOT of information to help prepare you to take on the role of USCCA Certified Instructor. On top of the other curriculum for this course shown below, I'll show you how to list a class, schedule a class and where to find everything in the instructor portal. After the class, I'll be available to you for mentoring and support.
Class fee: The total cost for this course is $597. I like to be as transparent as possible so I'm going to break down the cost for you. $250 of goes to USCCA for your e-learning and instructor toolkit and the remaining $347 goes to your Training Counselor.
Your Instructor Toolkit contains posters, 10 CCHDF books, your instructor card, your instructor polo and more. It will arrive AFTER you've successfully completed this course.
Completing your e-learning is a pre-requisite for this class and it will be available to you immediately so you can get started right away. Take your time, explore all the widgets and videos. This e-learning is narrated by Michael Martin and covers all the slides you can use when teaching to your future students the USCCA Conceal Carry Home Defense Fundamentals.
In class we'll cover how to break these power point slides up into 3 separate courses: Basic Handgun, Home Defense Fundamentals, or the full Conceal Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals. We'll also talk about other ways you can benefit from this incredible power point by offering your future students "mini" courses using the 7 Lesson Plans individually.
Cancellation Policy: Payments are NON-refundable. Many of our classes have waiting lists. If a student is unable to attend on the chosen date, registration can be rescheduled once for a future date within 90 days. After that, funds are forfeited. Notification must be made 2 or more days before class start. Students that "no-show" to class without communicating with instructors beforehand will forfeit all registration fees and/or deposits. Classes with 3 or less students may be rescheduled.

Concealed Carry & Home Defense Fundamentals - Certified Instructor
Upon successfully completing this course, you will become a USCCA Certified Instructor uniquely authorized to teach the USCCA course, Concealed Carry and Home Defense Fundamentals.
This course has become the nation’s leading curriculum for law-abiding Americans seeking to obtain their concealed carry permit. When it comes to firearms fundamentals and concealed carry and home defense concepts, you will provide your students with high-quality material and help them understand the ‘why’ behind training concepts.
Class Preparation: You must complete the corresponding online learning course. (Automatically sent to you upon registering for the class.)
Day 1: you’ll be taught by a USCCA Training Counselor on a number of valuable topics including:
- Top ten instructor mistakes and how to avoid them
- Teaching best practices
- Running a safe live fire range
Day 2: You’ll have a chance to:
- Demonstrate your knowledge of the USCCA training material through seven short presentations to a group of your peers
- Run a live fire range, guiding your peers through the safe completion of the USCCA course of fire
