What You'll Learn
In person concealed carry course meeting the minimum Virginia state concealed carry requirements. This class covers Virginia State-specific concealed carry laws, and automatically includes the USCCA’s The Legal Use of Force and Self-Defense Firearms Basics curriculum classes. Students are welcome to bring their current concealed carry firearm for instructor assistance, NO AMMUNITION IS ALLOWED IN THE CLASSROOM! ALL FIREARMS WILL BE REQUIRED TO BE CLEARED BY THE INSTRUCTOR.
Cancellation Policy: Payment is non-refundable. If notice is given at least 24 hours in advance, class fee can be transferred to another class within 90 days one time only. Students that "no show", "no call" or "no call, no show", without contacting the instructor prior to class, will forfeit their class fee funds.
What We'll Teach
Legal Use of Force
In this lesson, Michael Martin will cover important legal topics, including the laws governing the legal use of force inside and outside the home. Within this lesson, you’ll get a chance to test what you’ve learned, using several real world scenarios with you as the actor.
Additional Notes from Your Instructor
Please Note: There will be no firearm handling in this class, it is not a "Learn to shoot" class. This class meets the minimum requirements for concealed carry in the Commonwealth of Virginia and it is STRONGLY suggested that additional training is sought out by the student. Water, coffee, cocoa, tea, drinks and snacks are all available at the classroom as a courtesy, or students are allowed to bring food or drink with them as desired.
