What You'll Learn
Emergencies can happen in a flash, are you prepared to responded effectively. Students will increased sense of confidence in their ability to be part of, or even lead a team of strangers to save the life of a cardiac arrest victim. That includes students who may have attended and been certified in other CPR classes such as those taught by the American Heart Association or Red Cross. Sign up for this course annually to continually refresh these important and lifesaving skills!
What We'll Teach
Save a Life: Restart the Heart
Students will learn how to identify sudden cardiac arrest including checking breathing status and for a carotid pulse, how to perform chest compressions, how to use an AED, when and how to perform rescue breaths, and what to do when paramedics arrive on the scene.
