Our basic pistol course is intended for those who have little to no experience with firearms. This course is also an excellent choice for those who have experience but may have not been to the range in a while or just need a refresh on the basics. From start to finish you will have been instructed on many topics such as; safety, how the handgun works, proper grip, proper stance, proper sight alignment, trigger control, ammo selection, etc. Each course begins in the classroom where we cover the four universal safety rules, range rules, emergency procedures, etc. Then we progress into explanations and demonstrations of how a handgun works, proper grip, stance, trigger control, etc. in preparation for live fire. Once we are done in the classroom we will then head to the range for our live fire work in a low stress environment. At the conclusion of this course, you will have built a strong foundation of firearm safety, fundamentals of firearm operation and accurate shooting.
