Once they have taken one basic firearm class with us. We can accommodate most schedules, with our USCCA Certified Firearms Instructors available mid-week, and most weekends. The course is a complete guide to understanding conflict avoidance and situational awareness; firearm basics; shooting fundamentals; the physiology of violent encounters; the legal aspects of using deadly force (including knowing what to do in the aftermath); and a complete guide on gear, gadgets, and ongoing training.

Changing the oil in your car or taking it to the car wash is no different than cleaning your firearm. Taking some time to clean your firearm increases its safety as well as it’s functionality and accuracy. Unfortunately, most pistol permit courses simply teach you the basics of firearms but rarely get into cleaning it. Our professional instructors know the ins and outs of various firearms and will walk you through on how to properly care for yours.

Our staff are Certified USCCA Firearms Instructors, and lifelong gun enthusiasts.

Just the action of cleaning a firearm will give you an understanding of proper maintenance. Don’t have a firearm? We will provide one for you to use during the course.

USCCA’s “Women’s Handgun & Self-Defense Fundamentals” is a welcoming and engaging training guide created for women who are seeking to begin, improve upon, or add to their firearms skills. With three distinct modules (Women's Basic Pistol, Women's Intermediate Pistol, and Women's Defensive Pistol), this course is designed to reach students who are brand new to firearms and those who are ready to learn more about defensive shooting. This course is intended for groups, with a minimum of 5 participants required.

The course offers incredibly useful information to churches, businesses, organizations and individuals on comprehensive plans to prevent a mass shooter event and lessons learned about how to survive a mass shooter incident. The course requires no weapons or shooting and can be conducted at your location if needed. Situational Awareness; the act of being aware of everything that is happening around you. While simple in concept, actually developing situational awareness is difficult. It takes practice and more practice to get to the point where you are aware of everything that is happening around you, even those things that others don’t want you to be aware of. As you develop your situational awareness, always keep in my mind your goal is to be safe. If you are aware of the situation around you; chances are, you’ll be aware that something is about to go down, even if you aren’t exactly sure what’s going to happen. The more aware that you can be, the quicker you can react, perhaps even beginning to react before the bad guys even start.
This is a performance based training course that adapts to each shooter on an individual level. Students who have a concealed carry permit and who have completed the Home Defense and Concealed Carry Course are eligible to attend. Students will learn the basics of carrying a concealed firearm and will be able to employ their firearm from concealment should the need arise. The opportunity to become an Instructor brings with it a very serious obligation to commit to safely practice and maintain high standards which in the future you will impart to your students. Our experience with candidates has shown that there is a need for the opportunity to demonstrate shooting proficiency before classes start. We have observed a failure rate of 25-30% in the Shooting Range Qualification Test. This component is 50% of the requirement to become a certified instructor and the inability to meet this standard will prevent a candidate from obtaining Training certification.

The Shooting Range Qualification Test is the first part of the 2-day curriculum and the expectation is that candidates are practicing prior to class and prepared beforehand to successfully meet the qualifications.

Our experience has shown that there is a need for some candidates to practice proficiency before the Qualification Test is administered. We understand that performing in a new environment can be intimidating. Tactical Armed Fighting Force Training is offering time slots for Pre-Qualification consultations.
