My Biography
Jarrod has enjoyed target and recreational shooting since childhood and has a passion for helping others learn shooting sports. Jarrod got his first permit to carry over 20 years ago and enjoys competing in USPSA, 3-gun, and cowboy action matches whenever possible.

The class will be held at the Chandler Feed Edgerton office, the address is 130 Klindt St, Edgerton, MN. We'll be in the white office building right next to the scale- come on in and down the stairs to the conference room.
There will be coffee, water, and some light snacks, but we don't typically break for lunch. If you'll need something more than that, feel free to bring something along.
If you have a handgun to shoot for the range portion of the class, please bring it, but leave it unloaded, cased, and safely stored in your locked vehicle until we head out to the range.
If you do not have a gun, a gun and ammo will be provided to use during the class. If you bring your own gun, please also provide approximately 25 rounds of factory ammunition (no personal reloads).
To ensure safety, NO ammunition or personal firearms are allowed in the classroom! Please leave it safely stored in your locked vehicle. The only time guns are to be loaded is at the firing line of the gun range, after your instructor has directed you to load. All other times they are to be completely unloaded.
Please bring eye and ear protection if you have it, if not, it will be provided. Also, feel free to bring a pen and notebook if you'd like to take notes. What to wear? Comfortable clothes, but refrain from wearing V-necks or low-cut shirts. Please wear comfortable flat-soled shoes with good traction and support that completely enclose your feet. No flip-flops, sandals or open footwear.
There are no compromises on safety. Safety is a critical aspect of all classes and unsafe or disruptive behavior in class or at the range will result in that person is asked to leave the class. In the event you are asked to leave, you will not be refunded. The instructor has sole discretion in determining if you have engaged in unsafe or disruptive behavior.
We will do the shooting portion at a range about 10 minutes from the classroom at the end of the day. We will do some indoor practice and keep the range portion a little shorter due to the non-availability of ammunition currently.
