This training focuses specifically on lessons which can help to better protect your House of Worship through being able to identify a mass shooter, creating an emergency operations plan and learning how to treat traumatic injuries that may occur. The lesson covers specific considerations related to Houses of Worship, teaches you how to evaluate your current level of security at your House of Worship, and offers practical exercises which can be done with students to practice the lessons being taught.

The Family Protection Academy is a basic level class that will expose you and your family to safety fundamentals of self and home defense, fire safety and protection, first aid / CPR, public awareness and more. All training takes place in a safe, family friendly fun environment utilizing modern technology with absolutely no live firearms so we can ensure a safe experience for you and your loved ones.

The class price is per family and not per person. We will have plenty of hands on experiences appropriate for all ages. We will have breaks and also understand how families and children work so please feel free to bring any snacks or means to help your family through the day. This class provides basic exposure, knowledge, and hands on training for the means to protect and provide for your family, however, due to the time it would take to certify for all these disciplines, there is no certification provided by this class.

The American Red Cross Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED course equips students to recognize and care for a variety of first aid breathing and cardiac emergencies involving adults, children and infants. It is designed for students who need a certification that satisfies OSHA workplace or other regulatory requirements. Upon successful completion a valid 2-year digital certificate for Adult and Pediatric First Aid/CPR/AED is issued.

What You'll Learn

This course teaches you basic first aid and lifesaving techniques to be used in the event of a medical emergency. You will learn to:

-Properly assess a patient -Treat gunshot wounds, broken bones, severe burns and other traumatic injuries -Help individuals experiencing cardiac arrest and other health emergencies -Build your own first-aid kit -Bridge the gap between an injury and lifesaving medical care.

This course includes an additional hour to explore hands on training of lethal (simulated) and non-lethal options, use of simulation OC (pepper) spray, simulation stun gun, non-lethal projectiles, and various tactics. All equipment is provided.
