Developing an Emergency Operations Plan “EOP”
This class uses the USCCA curriculum. You will gain knowledge and understanding of semi-automatic handguns verses revolvers, proper safe handling of firearms, types of ammunition, choosing the right handgun and ammo combination for you. Loading and unloading your firearm safely, situational awareness, and a review of Mississippi law as it pertains to concealed carry and the justifiable use of deadly force.
Students will learn verbal and non-verbal de-escalation techniques in order to resolve potential or active hostile encounters. This class was developed by Norman W Miller, PhD, NSEMT
In-depth discussion of situation awareness, using examples of the color code of awareness. How to identify danger zones and transitional areas. Based on the Avoid, Escape, Defend ideology.
Introduces Run,Hide,Fight ideology. Identifying and Use of weapons of opportunity. Developing a plan to survive
This training re-enforces the techniques and enhances the fundamentals learned in the Concealed Carry and Home Defense Class.
